What is the AI Builder School Internship Program?
Our internship program is designed to give aspiring professionals hands-on experience in one of the most in-demand fields today: building AI-powered applications. Over 21 days, you work on real projects, get reviewed by mentors who ship AI products, and walk away with something tangible — a live application with your name on it.
This is not a video course. It's a structured, project-based program that mirrors how real engineering teams work — with prompts, code reviews, deployments, and product decisions.
What You'll Do During the 21-Day Internship
The internship is structured across three weeks, with a clear deliverable at the end of each week:
Week 1 — Foundations & First Prototype
- Set up your AI development environment — Cursor IDE, ChatGPT, Claude
- Learn how AI tools actually work and how to prompt them effectively
- Pick your project, validate scope with mentors, and write your first spec
- Ship your first working prototype using AI-assisted development
Week 2 — Build & Iterate
- Add APIs, AI features, and data persistence to your app
- Deploy your application live on Vercel or Netlify
- Attend the weekly live mentor session — code reviews, prompts, product feedback
- Iterate based on community and mentor feedback
Week 3 — Polish, Launch & Portfolio
- Polish UX, fix bugs, and make your app production-ready
- Write a project case study you can put on your resume and LinkedIn
- Present your project in a live cohort showcase
- Receive your internship certificate (and letter of recommendation for top performers)
Who Should Apply
The internship is open to:
- College students looking for an internship that actually teaches in-demand AI skills — perfect for B.E., B.Tech, BCA, BSc CS students in their 2nd, 3rd, or final year
- Recent graduates who want a portfolio project and certificate before applying for full-time AI roles
- Students from non-tech streams (BA, BCom, BBA) who want to break into AI — we use AI-assisted coding so no prior programming background is required
- Final-year students who need a meaningful capstone project to showcase in placements
What You'll Get on Completion
- Internship Certificate — issued by AI Builder School, shareable on LinkedIn and resumes
- Portfolio-ready project — a live, deployed AI application you built end-to-end
- Letter of Recommendation — for top performers, signed by your mentor
- 1:1 project review — written feedback on what you built and how to improve
- Lifetime community access — alumni network for ongoing support, job leads, and collaborations
- Priority consideration for paid project opportunities through our partner network
Tools You'll Learn to Use Like a Pro
- ChatGPT & Claude — for writing, debugging, and shipping code
- Cursor IDE — the AI-native code editor used by modern AI builders
- Git & GitHub — version control and collaboration the way teams actually use it
- Vercel / Netlify — free-tier hosting and deployment
- Supabase — backend, auth, and database in minutes
- Prompt engineering — applied to real development tasks, not theory
Why This Internship Is Different
Most "internships" advertised to college students are either unrelated busy-work or unstructured remote roles that don't build real skills. Most "AI courses" teach concepts without giving you anything to put on your resume. This program is built around one core idea:
You leave with a working AI application — with your name on it — that you built, deployed, and can demo in any interview.
That single project is worth more in a placement interview than a dozen certificates from passive courses.

Cohorts start every few weeks. Seats are limited per cohort to maintain mentor quality.
Apply NowFrequently Asked Questions
Is the AI internship paid?
This is a structured project-based learning internship, not a corporate paid internship. Interns enroll in the program (₹4,500 one-time) and receive mentorship, project reviews, a certificate, and a portfolio project. Top performers may be considered for paid project opportunities through our partner network after completion.
Will I get an internship certificate?
Yes — on successful completion of the 21-day program, every intern receives a digital internship certificate from AI Builder School. Top performers also receive a letter of recommendation.
Do I need coding experience to apply?
No. We use AI-assisted coding throughout the program, so you can build real applications by describing what you want in plain language. Students from non-tech streams are welcome.
Is this internship recognised by colleges?
The internship certificate from AI Builder School can be submitted as supporting documentation for college internship requirements. We recommend checking with your placement cell — most colleges accept project-based internship certificates with verifiable deliverables (your deployed app + GitHub repo).
How is this different from the AI Builder Bootcamp?
The bootcamp and internship program share the same 21-day project-based curriculum. The internship framing emphasises the certificate, portfolio outcome, and structured project deliverables — ideal for students applying for placements or future roles. View the bootcamp page for the skill-development framing.
